NBI seizes P16.7M ‘New Era’ caps

MANILA, Philippines – The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has seized P16.7 million worth of “New Era” caps during operations conducted in Pasay City.

The NBI said that its agents from the Intellectual Property Rights Division (IPRD) raided three stores of the Head Cover Merchandising, reportedly owned by a certain Dong Kai alias Paul Tan, located at Stalls B-63 and 65 at the ground floor of the Baclaran Terminal Plaza Shopping and Amusement Center; Stall 2F-8, 2nd Floor, Two Shopping Center; Stall 2A-13, 2nd Floor, New Galleria Baclaran Shopping Mall, Taft Ave. Extension, Pasay City.

Also raided was the Fliess Marketing owned by Susan Sy, located at Stalls B-39 & 41, Ground Floor of the Baclaran Terminal Plaza Shopping and Amusement Center, also located at Taft Ave. Extension, Pasay City.

OSI Philippines was formed in 2001 by Jeff Williams, who is Board Certified in Security Management by the American Society for Industrial Security International.

Mr. Williams has over 40 years of combined worldwide investigative and security consulting experience, with over 25 years working Philippine-wide as a Special Agent and Counterintelligence Officer with the USAF Office of Special Investigations (OSI), U.S. Embassy, Manila; and then as the Country Manager for Pinkerton Consulting Services, Philippines.
