MANILA, April 30 (PNA) – Agents of the National Bureau of Investigations – National Capital Region seized 5,056 counterfeit New Era caps worth PhP 10 million during operations in Binondo, Manila last Tuesday.
Raided were retail stores and two stockrooms of D.L.S. Enterprises and/or CG Marasigan Marketing and/or Gong Jian Sheng and/or Lily Xo located at 168 Shopping Mall and 999 Shopping Mall 2.
The NBI-NCR agents obtained the search warrants from Judge Rainelda H. Estacio-Montesa of Manila Regional Trial Court Branch 46.
Charges of Trademark Infringement and Unfair Competition under the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines or Republic Act No. 8293 are being prepared against the owners of the raided establishments. (PNA)
