NBI agents seize P1.6M in fake jeans.

Operatives of The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) seized some P1.6 million worth of fake Lee Brand jeans and short pants following a series of raids on warehouses in Pasay City over the weekend. Raided were two retail outlets and two stockrooms of A.S Paral Collection and Sonda Fashion Collection owned by Agripina Paral and Cynthia and Samson Ong, respectively.

The raided retail outlets were located at stalls 1L-2, 1L-3, 1A-7 and 1A-8, Galleria Baclaran Shopping Mall, Taft Avenue Extension. On the other hand, the two stockrooms were located at Unit 120, Hao Yao Building, Cuneta Avenue, and at Unit 230 Pasay Metro Centers, also on Taft Avenue. Confiscated from the four establishments were 2,351 pairs of counterfeit Lee jeans and short Pants.

Investigation showed that the raid was conducted following the information received by market search firm Orion Support Inc. which represents Lee Company in the Philippines.
